As a nationally ranked designer and NKBA 30 UNDER 30, Richard T. Anuszkiewicz joined the ABS staff in 2013 as Executive Director of the Kitchen and Bath / Casework Division. A graduate of Virginia Tech’s NKBA accredited Residential Design Program, Richard’s love for design has led him to public speaking at premier industry events including KBIS Las Vegas and Dwell on Design Los Angeles as well as keeping up with trends and technology traveling abroad to Salone del Mobile in Milan and The London Design Festival. He has been highlighted in high-profile publications, such as The Washington Post, The Editor At Large and HGTV.
Angelica is a recent graduate of the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. She worked in Engineering and Construction administration for the Port of San Diego while in school. During her senior year, Angelica studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she experienced architecture with influences from Italy and England among other countries that contribute to their diverse culture and urban aesthetic. Upon graduation, Angelica returned home to Washington DC and joined the Alt Breeding Schwarz Architects team in 2017 as an Architectural Intern.
Kylee joined the Alt Breeding Schwarz Architects team in 2016 as a Residential Project Coordinator. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Residential Environments & Design, and was actively involved in her program and the surrounding community throughout her undergraduate career. During her senior year, Kylee was chosen by the National Kitchen and Bath Association to present the first student webinar for aspiring designers, helping to launch a successful enrichment program serving students and the industry.
A Senior Associate in the firm, Sarah Favrao’s primary focus is Concept Design and Design Development for residential projects. Coming from a family of architects and artists and growing up in a mid-century modern house, Sarah discovered her love of design at an early age. She earned a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia, with an emphasis on preservation and adaptive reuse. A stint in Italy studying Andrea Palladio cemented her lifelong respect for history and for the relationship of inside and outside spaces. She earned her MArch from Virginia Tech’s Alexandria Center. With over 30 years of experience in both large and small firms, she continues to delight in helping clients realize the homes that they imagine. In her off hours, Sarah is grateful for friends and family time, traveling with her architect husband, playing tennis, and gardening.
David Ferrara earned a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the Catholic University of America and graduated with honors. Mr. Ferrara has earned many Computer Aided Design Certificates, and 3D Rendering Certificates.
David Ferrara is responsible for planning and designing all architectural components for commercial and high end residential projects. He efficiently manages client details and coordination between all disciplines to effectively meet project deadlines. His role at Alt Breeding and Associates also includes executing Initial Code Research Reports, Feasibility Studies, Site Selection Reports, Project Material Research, and reviewing all Architectural Shop Drawings.
Mr. Ferrara has over 18 years of experience. He has been involved in all aspects of Project Management from Schematic Design to Construction Administration in several states including; Florida, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, New York, and Georgia. Past projects include High End Residential, Restaurant Builds, Existing Tenant Improvements/New Occupancy Fit Outs, Airport Interior Builds, and Commercial Shell/Landlord Work Coordination. He has effectively coordinated between consultants and the client to meet deadlines and conform to building codes, ADA, and local ordinances. He has also kept a positive learning environment within past firms by coordinating continuing education seminars and architectural lectures.
Michael began an early career in construction, working on many projects in historic Annapolis as a carpenter’s apprentice. Michael then moved on from carpentry to study architecture in Rome and New York, where he earned a five-year Bachelors of Art and Architecture with a concentration in Historic Preservation from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. He also holds an Associate’s degree in Architecture from Anne Arundel Community College. His combined carpentry and architectural work history stretches over three decades of high-end residential work.
Angela earned her B.S. and Masters of Architecture from the University of Maryland, in 1987 and 1991 respectively. She became a registered Architect in the State of Maryland in 1995. Angela came to Alt Breeding Schwarz in 2003, and is currently a Project Manager.
